As the first inch of snow fell, the Quidditch athletes drove to Hope Sports Complex and they meant business. The ten teams were comprised of players from all over the midwest. The teams did not represent specific schools. The athletes signed up individually and the ten team captains drafted their teams. They decided on their own team names and strategies for the tournament. Players from all over the Midwest including Missouri and Virginia joined the competition, but most of the players were from Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. As the fifth and final inch of snow fell, the "Pink Team" (dressed in red jerseys), led by OSU graduate, Luke Changet, ended up winning the tournament. It was great fun to watch!
